Three earn promotions with Springfield Police; 11 new officers sworn in

Three Springfield Police Department officers were recently promoted while 11 new officers were sworn in during a private ceremony at the Springfield Police Academy last week.Joseph Behl was promoted to the rank of lieutenant while Jeffrey Coker and Derrick Baker were both promoted to the rank of sergeant.Behl is a 13-year veteran of the department.
