Two suspects arrested in related to shooting of teen on Butler Street Monday

Two teens have been arrested in relation to a shooting of a 16-year-old male in the 3100 block of Butler Street Monday afternoon.The suspects, an 18-year-old from East St. Louis and a 16-year-old from the St. Louis area, were arrested Tuesday on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated discharge of a weapon.They had been taken in for questioning by Sangamon County sheriff’s deputies in the 2000 block of Grant Street, and both had firearms in […]
