LAPD is currently investigating an incident where rapper Megan Thee Stallion ended up with two gunshot wounds and rapper Tory Lanez may end up facing charges. As previously reported, Tory Lanez was arrrested last Sunday (July 12th) for possession of a concealed weapon after he was stopped in the Hollywood Hills and a gun was found in the SUV. Megan Thee Stallion was in the car, and the initial story was that she was hospitalized after cutting her foot on glass in the car. The real story was that Megan was shot in the foot twice — and it is alleged that Tory is the person that shot her. Sources say that Tory allegedly shot Megan after an argument and she was trying to leave the car.
Now, according to TMZ, law enforcement sources say that detectives have opened an assault with a deadly weapon investigation into what happened Sunday morning (July 12th) shortly before Tory's chauffered driven SUV was pulled over. Upgrading the investigation to assault with a deadly weapong could mean that new charges are coming. Tory has not been named an official suspect.

Meanwhile, sources told the site that if Tory is charged for the shooting, will more than likely claim that it was an accident. It is also being reported that cops are having trouble getting witnesses to cooperate, which could make it hard to prosecute Tory.
After it was alleged that Tory may be the person that shot Megan, social media started to post memes about the incident. Even celebs like 50 Cent posted memes and jokes about the shooting. Megan responded to people taking the situation for a joke, writing on Instagram, “Black women are so unprotected & we hold so many things in to protect the feelings of others w/o considering our own. It might be funny to y’all on the internet and just another messy topic for you to talk about but this is my real life and I’m real life hurt and traumatized.”
