City woman arrested in northside stabbing incident

A Springfield woman was arrested Monday following a stabbing incident on the city’s north side.Jamie Withers, 31, of the 1000 block of N. Ninth St., was brought to the Springfield Police Department for questioning shortly after the incident and was later arrested for scuffling with officers.Withers was arrested for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery to a police officer.
