Hewittville woman faces charges in theft of elderly person

A Hewittville woman has been charged with financially exploiting a Taylorville woman.A month-long investigation by Taylorville police nabbed Lisa Stice, 53, Tuesday. According to authorities, over $80,000 was missing or unaccounted for from the woman’s bank account.Stice faces an additional theft charge.
