Part of Hilltop Road to close for paving

The City of Springfield Office of Public Works has announced that Hilltop Road will be closed to thru traffic between Destiny Drive and Illinois 29 Thursday and Friday in order to pave the multi-use path.The closure will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.Access to residences within the closure area will be maintained to local resident traffic only and only from the south.
