BEHIND CHRISTINA AND ANTSTEAD’S SPLIT: Christina and Ant Anstead are finalizing the details of their divorce two months after announcing their separation. The Flip or Flop star cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly. They are seeking joint legal and physical custody of their 14-month-old son Hudson amid their divorce. They are both paying their own court fees and are not requesting spousal support.
PALACE REJECTS PRINCE HARRY’S REQUEST: Prince Harry asked that a wreath of poppies be laid to honor servicemen and women who have died in service to the U.K., but his request was denied in what many are seeing as a sign of how estranged he and wife Meghan Markle are from royals. They stepped down from their senior royal duties in March. His request was rejected because he no longer officially represents the family, according to reports. During Sunday’s solemn Remembrance Day ceremony, his father Prince Charles laid a wreath for himself and his mother Queen Elizabeth. Harry’s brother Prince William was also paid tribute on Sunday.
MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY TALKS NOT SHARING ABUSE DETAILS: In his new autobiography Greenlights, Matthew McConaughey revealed that he was abused as a teen, writing: “I was blackmailed into having sex for the first time when I was 15. I was certain I was going to hell for the premarital sex. Today, I am merely certain that I hope that’s not the case.” The Oscar winner also revealed that he was “molested by a man when I was eighteen while knocked unconscious in the back of a van.” On Tamron Hall, he explained why he didn’t get into details: “I feel like those details, unless I had a really good constructive way that I saw it that could be relatable to other people, I felt like those details could have just been grabbed and reported for voyeurism. They could’ve been the thing that every single show was going to go ‘Read about the details of when Matthew was molested,’ or ‘Read about when he got blackmailed,’ and that’s the wrong headline.”
