Classic Rock magazine put together a list of the “100 greatest rock songs of the century… so far.” Looking at the list some of the acts have been around for some time.
AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Rush are in the Top 10. Newer acts like Foo Fighters, White Stripes, Audioslave cracked the Top 10 as well.
The Top-10 is as follows:

- “Rock n Roll Train” – AC/DC
- “Black Bird” – Alter Bridge
- “Best of You” – Foo Fighters
- “Seven Nation Army” – The White Stripes
- “Caravan” – Rush
- “Slither” – Velvet Revolver
- “Cochise” – Audioslave
- “Blood Brothers” – Iron Maiden
- “No One Knows” – Queens of the Stone Age
