The home security company SimpliSafe made an ugly Christmas sweater for social distancing. . . it’s got an alarm that goes off if anyone comes within six feet of you. And after there had been such an amazing response the sweater might be available NEXT Christmas.
See…. SimpleSafe instead gave away a limited quantity of the same sweater without the lights and alarm system in exchange for charitable donations to NeighborWorks America Rental Resilience Fund – a nonprofit initiative dedicated to easing the impacts of rent loss. The donations are said to be helping people economically impacted by COVID-19, according to SimpliSafe’s press release.
So be on the lookout NEXT year for a this sweater we hopefully won’t need anymore unless you are Howie Mandel and want to keep everyone at a respectable 6 feet all the time.
