Bad Wolves and lead singer Tommy Vext have split. The band officially announced the news via their social media pages, writing in part, “Tommy has been a big part of Bad Wolves and we are grateful for his contributions. There is not much else to report at this moment but to send love and gratitude to the fans who have supported Bad Wolves from day one. We would not be here without you.”
The remaining four members of Bad Wolves plan to continue on, with a new album expected out sometime this year.
According to reports, Vext first announced the split via an Instagram live video that is no longer available. In it, he blamed his departure on an issue with both his band and the label over his conservative political beliefs.
