There’s a new “Buck Rogers” series in the works, and GEORGE CLOONEY just signed on as a producer. Sources say he might STAR in it, too.
Buck Rogers made his debut in a 1928 issue of the pulp magazine “Amazing Stories”. He’s a guy who falls into suspended animation after a cave-in and wakes up 500 years into the future.
The character was famously revived for the ’70s series “Buck Rogers in the 25th Century”, starring GIL GERARD and ERIN GRAY . . . not to mention their robot sidekick Twiki.
