Megan Thee Stallion has confirmed that she is indeed in a relationship with rapper Pardison Fontaine. Last week, fans expressed some concern when a video was posted online where a man was heard shouting, “Tell Megan to come to the door … Y’all got five seconds before I come through this sh*t.”
Megan responded to the drama, saying, “People don’t know what the hell they talking about, they just be saying anything. I didn’t like what they was trying to say about Pardi. Cause he is so calm and so sweet. And very, you know … That’s my boo. And I really like him … He is so perfect and he would never do anything to hurt me, just so y’all know.”
She later told fans, “Yeah…that's my boyfriend.”
Pardi also confirmed that he and Megan were dating after sharing photos from their Valentine's Day celebration.
THE HOTTIES GO OFF ABOUT MEGAN'S 'HARPER'S BAZAAR' COVER
Meanwhile, Megan's fans went off after seeing photos from her Harper's Bazaar shoot. The rapper is on the cover of the magazine, and inside she opened up about being comfortable in her own skin, saying, “I’m realizing that I don’t have to be in full glam every time you see me, because I’m just getting more comfortable with myself and more comfortable with my skin. I know that I’m a person that everybody looks to, and they’re like, ‘Oh, Megan, she’s a confident woman. She’s so strong.’ But you have to go through things to become that person.”
Photographer Collier Schorr took some minimalistic shots with the rapper and some felt that the photos could have used a little more glam. After being dragged online, the photoprapher took to social media, saying that he and Megan were in “total collaboration” and she “discussed each picture and edited afterward.” Schorr later set his social media to private.
MEGAN FACES BACKLASH FOR SAYING SHE WILL BE ONE OF THE OGS OF RAP
In related news, Megan was also dragged for comments she made during the Harper's Bazaar interview. When asked about her future, she responded, “I feel like when it’s all said and done, when people want to talk about female rap … they are definitely going to have to put my name up there with the OGs.” She added, “My next project, I’m not going to tell you all who it’s going to be, but she got something.”
Of course, social media had something to say. One person tweeted, “She isn’t OG, She can’t even do a single without a collab. She trying to get relevant.” Another person wrote, “This girl has released three projects in the space of 4yrs and they haven’t even crossed 4m combined, like what?”
