Luke Bryan had to bow out of last night's (Monday, April 12th) live episode of American Idol after testing positive for Covid-19. He will be temporarily replaced by original Idol judge Paula Abdul.
Luke shared the news on social media yesterday tweeting, “I’m sad to say I won’t be a part of tonight’s first live @AmericanIdol
show. I tested positive for COVID but I’m doing well and look forward to being back at it soon.”
There's no word yet on when fans can expect to see Luke back in the judge's chair.
