Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week is a sweet mixed breed girl who came to us as a stray. Harper is approximately 5 years old. She arrived at SCAC in rough shape. She was super thin and appeared to have had many litters of pups.
Ask our volunteers and they’ll tell you Harper is sweet, gentle, intelligent, affectionate and a real cutie. Harper knows sit, shake and down. She does need some training to walk on a leash. Because she’s a stray we don’t know how she does with kids, cats or other dogs.
Harper is looking for the person who will see her sweet face and take her home and love her like part of the family. If you would like to meet Harper, come on out to Sangamon County Animal Control Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-12:45. A volunteer would love to do a meet and greet.
