Halsey revealed a bit more about her relationship with the father of her child, Alev Aydin, for Allure’s August cover story.
She said that they’ve been “really good friends” for about four years and that they took a long time to start dating because she “liked him so much.”
Halsey told the magazine, “When the stars aligned, our relationship became romantic and it was pretty evident that he and I were both like, ‘Oh, my gosh! You're the person I'm supposed to start a family with.”
The “Without Me” singer also shared the trailer for If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power on Tuesday (July 13th). The hour-long film experience, set to the music of her upcoming album of the same name, will be released in select cities. Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, August 3rd, for IMAX showings.
Halsey’s fourth studio album will be released by Capitol Records on August 27th.
