Some dude felt ripped off on the size of his steak and wanted to point it out.
For his birthday dinner Antonio Chacon ordered a 6oz steak at a Texas Roadhouse. Upon the dinner arriving at the table Antonio felt it looked smaller than 6oz. So he went out to his car and grabbed a scale. Yes… a scale!
He weighed it. The steak was 3.6 ounces. So of course Antonio jumped on Facebook to complain:
Went to roadhouse and ordered a 6oz steak looked small… so I got my scale and [it] weighed 3.5 oz
Of course several comments pointed out that steaks will shrink when cooking… and even the menu says is it in fine print with note “Precooked Weight.”
We wonder if this guy likes his steak well done and maybe that’s why the think almost looks like a hockey puck.
