Madonna Shows Off Her Backside and Did Billie Just Throw Shade at J-Lo @ VMAs

Once a year, MTV nudges the pregnant teens aside and acknowledges that the “M” in its name USED TO stand for “Music”.  They do this by hosting the “MTV Video Music Awards”.  This year’s ceremony went down last night.

Lil Nas X‘s “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” won Video of the Year . . . Justin Bieber got Artist of the Year . . . and Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drivers License” picked up Song of the Year.

The FOO FIGHTERS won the U.S. Global Icon Award, and DAVE GROHL used his very short acceptance speech to kind of poke fun at MTV basically having nothing to do with music anymore.

He thanked all the “past and present” people at MTV, like Kurt LoderTabitha SorenMatt Pinfield, and J.J. Jackson . . . whom he mistakenly called J.J. JOHNSON before his band corrected him.

Of course, NONE of these people have anything to do with MTV’s “present”.

There weren’t really any other jaw-dropping moments . . . but the night ended on a vomit-inducing note, when Megan Fox and Kourtney Kardashian introduced Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker as their “future baby daddies.”

(But was that worse than when Megan and MGK licked each other’s tongues?  Discuss.)

DOJA CAT, the night’s host, easily made one of the most bizarre fashion choices in “VMA” history, with her “worm” dress.

Her performance was pretty tight, too . . . although it’s probably CHLOE and her backside who have more people talking this morning.

CAMILA CABELLO sang “Don’t Go Yet” and she crushed it . . . and LIL NAS X and JACK HARLOW tore it up, too.

And speaking of backsides, as we were a second ago, MADONNA and hers kicked off the show.

One last, quick note:  Some people think BILLIE EILISH shaded JENNIFER LOPEZ by not clapping when J-Lo hit the stage.  But she’ll probably deny it, if she hasn’t already.

As for winners, they include: Lil Nas X‘s “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” for Video of the Year . . . Justin Bieber for Artist of the Year . . . and Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drivers License” for Song of the Year.
