Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week is looking for a home for the holidays. This nice girl has been waiting in her kennel since October 25th to meet her new family.
Lizzy is a beautiful, blue pit mix dog with the most adorable ears. She’s a chunky 5 year old girl who is easy to walk on a leash. Lizzy came to Sangamon County Animal Control as an owner surrender. Her former owner tells us she’s okay with kids and dogs and she knows sit and stay. Lizzy is a calm girl but she can be playful. Best of all, this sweet girl likes to be close to her family.
Would you like to welcome Lizzy into your family? She’s waiting to meet you. Animal Control will be CLOSED Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. There’s time to meet Lizzy today (Wednesday) from 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-12:45.
