Walker Hayes lost a best when the University of Georgia beat his beloved University of Alabama on Monday (January 10th) night during the College Football Playoff National Championship game. As the loser, he rewrote a line in his song “AA,” replacing “Down in Alabama where they love Nick Saban” with “Down in Athens, Georgia where they love Kirby Smart,” debuting it for fans via social media. Walker posted the video late Monday night writing, “Mighta lost a bet with @davidpollack47 @coachkirbysmart”
Walker closed out the video singing Georgia's praises and mentioning ESPN broadcaster David Pollack, to whom he lost the bet. Walker referred to David as the “greatest commentator of all time.”
