Chiefs Fans Raised $178,000 for a Charity Named After Josh Allen’s Grandmother

Kansas City Chiefs fans are gracious winners.  After the Chiefs knocked the Buffalo Bills out of the playoffs Sunday, they raised almost $200,000 for a charity named after the grandmother of Bills quarterback JOSH ALLEN.

The idea came from Brett Fitzgerald, who owns a Chiefs fan account.  He asked followers to donate $13 each to the Patricia Allen Fund, which benefits a children’s hospital in Buffalo.

The $13 is in honor of the 13 seconds that it took PATRICK MAHOMES to drive down the field so the Chiefs could tie the game at the end of regulation and send it into overtime.

As of yesterday morning, more than 9,800 people joined together to raise $178,000 for the hospital.
