Amid mounting backlash over Joe Rogan‘s podcast, Spotify says it will add a content advisory to any episode that discusses COVID-19.
This comes after Neil Young, Joni Mitchell and Nils Lofgren pulled their music from the music-streaming service over their objections to Rogan, who is accused of making false claims about the coronavirus and vaccines.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have also expressed their concerns about COVID misinformation on the platform in a statement. (Fox Business)
According to NPR, the advisories will direct listeners to a hub with “data-driven facts, up-to-date information as shared by scientists, physicians, academics and public health authorities around the world, as well as links to trusted sources.”
