Wet Nose Wednesday: Shep

By John Spalding Feb 1, 2023 | 10:06 AM

Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week is a fun young guy who is waiting to bust out of Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center into a home of his own.

Shep is a 7 month old German Shepherd mix who has been at SCACAC since December 26th. He came in as a stray so we don’t have any background on him, but our volunteers are in love with this handsome hunk. He’s full of puppy energy, loves his walks and wants to play. Shep is going to be an awesome dog for an adopter who is willing to give him the structure and stimulation he needs to be part of a family.
The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are still full of wonderful cats and dogs waiting to find their forever homes. If you would like to meet Shep or any of the other pets please come on out Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-12:45.
Thanks to The Villas Senior Care Community in Sherman for sponsoring Wet Nose Wednesday!
