Ghost may be planning to kill off their current frontman Papa Emeritus IV later this year.
The latest installment of their video series, titled “Chapter 16: Tax Season,” used imagery like a coffin and a video game’s “game over” screen to suggest it may be the end for Tobias Forge’s on-stage alter ego.
NME suggests the death of the character may signal the end of the band’s “Impera” era, which began last March.
