Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week is a sweet senior citizen who just wants to spend the rest of her life giving and receiving love and affection.
Zelda was brought to SCACAC as a stray and it’s plain to see she’s had a rough life to this point. She’s got a gray muzzle and it’s obvious she’s had many litters of puppies. We estimate Zelda is around 7 years old. This girl is sweet, calm and she just craves love and affection. She’ll be a great companion for someone who is looking for an easy going best friend. Senior dogs are usually overlooked in shelters but they make great companions. If young dog energy is more than you’re looking for Zelda may be the perfect girl for you.
The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are still completely full. If you’re looking to add a new dog to your family now is the time. Adoption fees for dogs and puppies have been reduced to $50.00!
Please help us help the homeless dogs of Sangamon County. We’re waiting to meet you Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-12:45.
Thanks to Simply CBD in Junction Circle for sponsoring Wet Nose Wednesday!
