It’s been a very long time since our Wet Nose Wednesday star came from the cat side of the shelter. That’s about to change! We have a special guy we’d like you to meet.
Gauge is a very handsome older gentleman who was surrendered by his owner on June 12th. He’s nine years old, very sweet and loving and is a Certified Lap Cat. His coat is soft and silky and he loves, loves, loves to play. That’s a great thing because it tells us he’s feeling good for his age. Unfortunately this wonderful guy is an older black cat in a crowded shelter and he’s getting overlooked for kittens and young cats.
If you’re looking to add a new member to your family, please come on out to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center and ask to meet Gauge. His adoption fee is only $25.00! He’ll be waiting to meet you Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and during our new, expanded Saturday hours 10:30-3:15.
