The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are still full of wonderful dogs looking for loving homes. Thanks to the dedication of the staff, volunteers and our rescue friends July was a pretty good month for adoptions and fosters. Let’s keep that momentum in August!
Our first Wet Nose Wednesday star for August is the lovely Penny 2. (There are 2 girls named Penny in our kennels.) Penny is a little sweetie. She’s medium sized and walks nicely on a leash. She likes to snuggle up to her person and hang out in the shade on a nice day. Penny is an easy going girl with a beautiful chocolate brown coat. She is an owner surrender and is looking forward to the day she’s back in a home and part of a family.
If you want to add some love and fun to your life, come on out to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center and meet Penny 2 and the great adoptable dogs Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-3:15. The adoption fee for dogs and puppies is only $50.00!
Thanks to Simply CBD in Junction Circle for sponsoring Wet Nose Wednesday!
