Wet Nose Wednesday: Astrice

By John Spalding Oct 25, 2023 | 10:12 AM

The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are still filled beyond the normal capacity. New animals keep arriving while some have been waiting for months to meet their new families.

Astrice is our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week. This adorable girl has been waiting since May 10th to find a new home. This girl is so sweet that not even being stuck in a kennel for five months has changed her personality. Astrice likes being with people. She’s about 6 years old and is super gentle and she loves to give kisses. She’s really cute, too. Check out her adorable speckled ears.
If you’re looking to add to your family and help a dog who has been waiting a long time to experience a loving home, Astrice may be the girl for you. Come on out to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center to meet her and all the other adoptable dogs Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-3:15.
THE ADOPTION FEE FOR DOGS IS ONLY $50.00!
