Migos rapper Offset is being sued for allegedly assaulting a private security guard outside ComplexCon in Long Beach two years ago. Plaintiff Daveon Clark says the incident began when security attempted to restrict access to the event “for the safety of the other patrons inside.” Rapper YRN Murk allegedly spit on Clark, prompting other guards to push him back. “At this point, plaintiff was rapidly and aggressively approached by YRN Murk who began striking plaintiff,” Clark’s lawyers wrote in the complaint. “Plaintiff attempted to defend himself from the onslaught when [Offset] approached him and struck him.” Clark claims that he suffered “severe bodily injuries” along with physical pain and “mental anguish” in the two years since. He also accsues event organizers of negligence for failing to stop the attack.
