Everyone loves candy canes this time of the year, but how much are you willing to pay for one? How about 20 bucks?
Disneyland is trending for their overpriced candy canes.
These limited-batch, 18-inch candy canes – about 6 inches longer than the standard variety – can run you just under $22 bucks for just one. And a pound will cost you $70.
For comparison, a box of 20 candy canes from your local store is only a few bucks.
However, the giant price tag hasn’t stopped eager park goers from rushing to buy them.
“It’s pretty incredible – people keep coming back and wanting them,” park confectioner Chris Thompson told Delish. “Every single year, there’s just such high demand for handmade candy canes.”
The candy canes have been a holiday staple at Disneyland since 1968 and are handmade in limited quantities every morning.
