Celine Dion‘s sister, Claudette, said in a new interview that the singer has lost control of her muscles amid her struggle with the progressive neurological disorder known as Stiff-Person Syndrome. “She works hard, but she doesn’t have control over her muscles,” Claudette told a French magazine. “What breaks my heart is that she’s always been disciplined. She’s always worked hard.” Celine hopes to get back onstage, but Claudette notes that “the vocal cords are muscles, and the heart is also a muscle,” and more research is needed to help her. Celine has been mostly out of sight for last 3 years, but was seen at a few events in Las Vegas recently, including Katy Perry's residency at Resorts World Theatre.
