Pink Files Legal Action Against Pharrell Over Proposed P.Inc. Trademark

Pink’s lawyers have filed legal paperwork against Pharrell Williams, opposing his trademark registration for his P.Inc. business. The filing argues that Williams’ mark is too similar to Pink’s registered “PINK” trademark and that their goods and services are closely related. Pink’s legal team believes Williams’ registration could harm her business and is requesting the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board to uphold their opposition. Victoria’s Secret has also opposed Williams’ trademark, citing similarities between his mark and their “Pink” brand. Williams faced a similar legal action last month from Chad Hugo, his Neptunes production partner, who accused him of fraudulently seeking control of the Neptunes trademark.
