The house from the 1982 horror classic “Poltergeist” is for sale for the first time in 45 years.  And the owners want to assure potential buyers that there are NO evil spirits.

The Zillow listing says, quote, “Yes this is the home where much of the first movie of the series was filmed but ‘This house is clean’.  Seriously, it is!

“Well-loved by its original owners, this charming four bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom home is ready to welcome a new family, without the ghostly antics, we promise!”

It’s listed for $1.17 million and is located in Simi Valley, California.  It was built in 1979.  The listing adds that fans will love to see that the “infamous kitchen” is in its original form, but with updated appliances.

Quote, “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live in a home with a story, minus the spooks.”

And before you ask, that muddy pool scene at the end of the movie with REAL skeletons was allegedly filmed on a soundstage . . . and NOT in the backyard of the actual house.
