“One Tree Hill” sequel series is in the works at Netflix, with Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton Morgan returning as Brooke and Peyton.

They’ll also produce the show along with former co-star Danneel Ackles, but there’s no word if she . . . or any other cast members from the original series . . . will appear in front of the camera.

One person who WON’T be involved is original creator Mark Schwahn.  Years after the show ended, he was accused of sexual harassment and other toxic behaviors.  Sophia, Hilarie, and Danneel all backed up those claims.

“One Tree Hill” aired for nine seasons, from 2003 to 2012 . . . first on The WB and then The CW.

Here is Chad Michael Murray on the Today show about 3 months ago speaking about a Reboot or Reunion.
