If you could time travel but only to witness a single moment in your own life, what moment would you choose to re-live or see for the first time, and why? (Reddit)

Some responses:

  • I’d choose my first day of college. Like, what was I thinking letting me loose in the world? Now i just want to go back and chill out.
  • I’d go to the time where I was with my grandparents at the beach. They held hands and walked along the seashore at sunset. So beautiful. I was six, but I remember that my first thought was “that’s true love.” I would do anything to see my reaction as a little girl while looking at them in that moment.
  • I’d go back to those sweet late ’90s, so I could enjoy Saturday morning cartoons, awesome junk food, comfy vidya, and sweet, sweet pre 9/11 society.
  • I’d go back to the moment I first laughed as a baby, just to see the pure joy before the world got complicated.
  • Going sappy here. The moment I met my wife. Her face lit up and the rest is history. So far, 25 years of it. Sometimes I honestly can’t believe she chose me.
  • I’d choose to re-live a moment of pure childhood joy, like a carefree summer day, to remember the feeling of innocence and wonder before life got complicated.
  • The day my birth mom and adopted mom exchanged me. For obvious reasons.
