Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Voices Support For Dave Grohl Following Reveal Of Extramarital Family Scandal

During a recent episode of Your Mom’s House podcast, Slipknot lead vocalist Corey Taylor expressed support for his longtime friend Dave Grohl, after the Foo Fighters frontman revealed he has a new baby born outside of his marriage. Grohl’s ongoing family issues certainly played a role in Foo Fighters canceling their performance at the Soundside Music Festival this past weekend. “Obviously, it’s very irresponsible. I know there are a lot of disappointed fans out there because of the image he’s developed,” Taylor explained when asked about his take on Grohl’s situation. “But I have to remind people that we’re not perfect. He was one of the last people to really have that image. This happening does not mean he’s not a nice person’ It means he’s got f**king issues and he f**ked up. He’s not perfect. It is going to be very difficult for his family. But if that’s the one thing that defines him, then what the f**k are we doing? It’s disappointing.” (NME)
