Yeah, sure Thanksgiving is Thursday, but admit it, you’re ready to watch Christmas movies and sip hot cocoa.

Well, if you’re looking for something different than your average holiday movie, Ultimate Classic Rock created a list of The Weirdest Christmas Movies from Every Year from 1984 to 2024.

(Some of them are a BIT of a stretch.)

Here are some highlights:

1984:  “Gremlins”

1985:  “Rocky 4”

1996:  “Santa with Muscles”

1997 and 1998:  “Jack Frost” . . . One was about a mass murderer, the other had Michael Keaton.

1999:  “Eyes Wide Shut” . . . See what we mean, a bit of a stretch?  It’s only on here because it starts at a Christmas party.

2005:  “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”

2010:  “Rare Exports”. . . It’s a Finnish fantasy action horror comedy.  And it’s actually really GREAT.  Try it out if you’re looking for something fresh, unique, and a little twisted.  (Here’s a trailer.)

2013:  “Alone for Christmas”

2018:  It’s a tie between “Santa Jaws”“Await Further Instructions”, and “Anna and the Apocalypse”

2020:  “Fatman”

2024:  “Terrifier 3”
