In a new interview with KCAL host Radioactive MikeZ, Glenn Danzig said that while he has no plans to retire, if he were to announce a final concert, he would uphold the commitment. “I remember when Danzig went out with Ozzy, that was supposed to be his final tour,” he recalled with a laugh. “And then he’s done a bunch of final tours since then.” Danzig added, “If it’s gonna be final, it should be final. If you say it’s gonna be final… You’ll see all these bands [promoting] the last tour, and then they’re back again two years later. And it’s kind of a scam.” But if Danzig ever does announce a “final” tour, you better believe him. “When it’s final, and if I say it’s final, it’ll be final,” he says. The 69-year-old singer’s approach to touring has also evolved as he’s aged. “I’ll do a string of shows, which I don’t consider a tour,” he said. (Consequence of Sound)
