The Illinois State Fair Box Office opens for in-person ticket purchases Monday, June 2.

Regular box office hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. However, for one day only on June 2, all in-person buyers will receive one free adult admission ticket for every concert and/or event ticket purchased, making entrance to the fair free. This is a one-day only offer and only applicable for in-person sales.

In addition, the first 50 in-person customers will receive a free State Fair Foodie Pass – which includes gift certificates for mini donuts from The Donut Family, Cullers Fries and Vose’s Korndogs that can be redeemed during the Illinois State Fair.

“The 2025 Illinois State Fair is packed with entertainment options for the whole family,” said Jerry Costello II, Director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture. “The box office opening day specials are even more reason to come out and buy tickets in person.”

While purchasing concert tickets, fairgoers will be able to purchase tickets at the box office for events at The Arena as well as car races at the Grandstand.

Discounted Mega Passes are available for purchase at the Emmerson Building or online and give fairgoers unlimited access to all the thrilling rides in the Carnival Midway and Adventure Village. Grab a Mega Pass for $80 or a Jumbo Pass (which includes the Giant Slide) for $90 through July 31. Beginning August 1, the price will increase $20 on both passes.

For just $45, a Discount Admission Book provides 11 any-day admissions to the 2025 Illinois State Fair.  A seasonal Infield Parking Pass can also be purchased for $40, allowing parking on the fairgrounds for all 11 days of the fair.
