Tinder is struggling.  Not because single people aren’t using dating apps . . . because they aren’t having as many HOOKUPS.

The new CEO of Tinder, Spencer Rascoff, is trying to revamp the app’s image, because it’s struggling to gain traction among Gen Z’ers between the ages of 18 and 28.

He says, “It’s not a hookup generation.  They don’t drink as much alcohol, they don’t have as much sex.”  And that’s the problem.

In a recent poll of single people on dating apps, a whopping 85% say they don’t use Tinder because of its reputation for “hookups.”

Rascoff says they’re trying to adapt by shifting the focus to casual meet-ups, including double-dating, which is rolling out this summer . . . and improving the quality of matches to encourage more lasting relationships.
