ISP and ISPHF honor two troopers who died last year at ISP Memorial wall in Springfield this past Friday

Illinois State Police and the Illinois State Police Heritage Foundation honored two troopers who died in the line of duty last year on the ISP Memorial Wall in Springfield during ceremonies on Friday.

Trooper Corey Thompson died after his motorcycle was struck by a pickup truck in Champaign County in October, and Trooper Clay Carns died in December after he was struck outside his patrol vehicle by a passing vehicle while he was picking up debris in the roadway.
