New Salem Candlelight Walk
At Lincoln’s New Salem State Historic Site Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5pm – 7:30pm. The walk features the historic village lit entirely by candle lanterns, with interpreters in period clothing stationed throughout log homes and shops. Visitors will also be able to tour many candlelit building interiors.

Echos of Yesteryear: A Walk Through Oak Ridge Cemetery
Sunday Noon – 3:30pm at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Donations accepted. Seven actors dressed in period costumes will tell the personal stories of individuals buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery who make significant contributions to our community’s early history. The tour is about 1/2 mile and takes about two hours.
