The University of Illinois Springfield Innovation Center has announced it will lease space at the downtown campus of Horace Mann to expand the center’s economic development programs.
The UIS business incubator Innovate Springfield will relocate from the Old State Capitol Plaza to the third floor of the Horace Mann building.
UIS said the larger space at the new location will include co-working and incubation areas, instructional space for workforce development and larger areas for events and pitch competitions.
