Springfield, IL — July 8, 2025 The Prospect League’s All-Star festivities continued Tuesday with a luncheon at the DoubleTree Hilton Downtown, drawing about 400 attendees including players, families, local businesses, and elected officials. The event was hosted by Rocki, morning show host on 98.7 WNNS, and served as a lead-up to the All-Star Game held later that night at Robin Roberts Stadium.
The luncheon was part of a two-day schedule that began Monday with an alumni game and home run derby. Tuesday’s events included the luncheon and the All-Star Game, bringing together teams from both the Western and Eastern conferences.
The event was supported by WNNS, the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes, and the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce.
“What a thing to have the All-Star game in the Capital!” said Rocki during the luncheon.
