The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 30th Annual Corporate Cup Challenge on July 17–18, 2025, at Piper Glen Golf Club in Springfield, Illinois. This milestone event brought together local businesses, media personalities, and community leaders for two days of friendly competition and fundraising on the fairways.
Despite the looming dark clouds and a few rain showers, the energy remained high as teams took to the course. Representing Woodward Community Media were on-air personalities John Spalding (104.5 WFMB) and Darin Pritchett (Sports Radio 92.3 FM/1450 AM), joined by sales representative Rob Zavitka and guest Gary Moser. Their team delivered a strong performance, finishing the day with more birdies than bogeys and plenty of camaraderie.
The vision of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce is to be the voice of business and catalyst that promotes a vibrant community and economy.
