Springfield Police’s Pro-Active Crime Unit arrested Contavious Kidd, a 37-year-old Springfield resident, on Monday following an extensive narcotics investigation.
The unit in connection with the Street Crimes Unit executed a search of Kidd’s residence on Monday. During the search authorities found approximately 80 grams of suspected heroin, 28 grams of suspected cocaine, 52 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 94 grams of suspected cannabis, and 112 grams of suspected fentanyl. Additionally, two illegal firearms were seized.
Kidd was arrested and transported to the Sangamon County Jail
