A Springfield man was arrested Monday evening for Attempted Kidnapping, Aggravated Battery, Unlawful Restraint, and Disorderly Conduct.
The arrest was made after authorities were notified of a possible kidnapping of a two-year old boy in Kiwanis Park.
After investigating the claims, the authorities had probable cause to arrest 34-year old Rodly Pierre. Pierre is currently being held in Sangamon County Jail.
