Relocation of a large water main is requiring the closure of an intersection on Springfield’s north side beginning later today.
City Water, Light and Power said the North Grand Avenue and 11th Street intersection will close after Lanphier High School dismisses this afternoon.
The intersection is expected to reopen at the end of the work day on Saturday. Detours are posted.
