Neil Young has announced a 50th anniversary edition of his 1975 album, Tonight’s the Night, set for release on November 28. The new collection will feature six bonus tracks, including unreleased original versions of “Lookout Joe” (which replaces the original album version) and “Walk On,” which were both recorded during the 1973 album sessions at S.I.R. in Los Angeles. Also included is an unreleased version of the title track, an early version of “Wonderin’,” which was previously only available to stream on Young’s website, and a collaboration with Joni Mitchell, “Raised on Robbery.” All bonus tracks will be available on vinyl for the first time, accompanied by newly reimagined album artwork. Following Young’s recent boycott of Amazon, with the rock legend encouraging his fans to “support your community” instead, the limited-edition reissue will be sold exclusively through independent record stores and Warner Records’ website.
