On Monday, October 27, 2025, the Illinois Broadcasters Association celebrated excellence in broadcasting at its annual Silver Dome Awards ceremony—and Woodward Community Media brought home two top honors.
Best Radio Personality was awarded to Josh Roberts of 104.5 WFMB, recognizing his outstanding presence, connection with listeners, and dedication to local radio.
Best Use of Non-Broadcast Media went to 217 Tales, a compelling digital series hosted by John Spalding and produced by Kyle Hutchinson, both of 104.5 WFMB. The series showcases unique stories from Central Illinois, blending creativity and community storytelling.
In addition to these wins, Woodward Community Media earned several prestigious nominations:
- Station of the Year – 104.5 WFMB
- Best Commercial
- Best Use of Non-Broadcast Media for two standout projects:
- Eating Around the 217
- IL State Fair Mullet Championship
