On Saturday, November 8, Lincolnland Community College hosted the Girls on the Run 5K in Springfield, Illinois, bringing together hundreds of young runners and their supporters for a day of celebration and fitness.
More than 300 girls participated in the 5K run, joined by stride boys from the YMCA and members of the Northern Runners Club. This inspiring event highlighted the importance of youth fitness programs, community engagement, and healthy lifestyles.
Adding to the excitement, Rocki, co-host of The Morning Routine on 98.7 WNNS, was on-site broadcasting live from the event.
